Air & Space Museum
The San Diego Air & Space Museum offers exhibits and education on the history of aviation. They have several historic planes, the Apollo 9 module and other artifacts related to aviation history. There’s a children’s play area, a 3D/4D theater and a flight simulator.
Free Tuesdays
Museum admission is free to San Diego residents on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Some exhibits are closed on those days and some require an additional charge.
Groups
Tours and educational program are offered for school field trips and other groups.
Space Camp San Diego
During the summer the museum offers week-long daycamps with themes like Destination Mars and Aviation Simulations. They fill up early, so don’t put it off!
Special Needs
The summer camp program works with Kids Included Together to make sure that all kids have access to their programs.
