California State Junior Lifeguard
The Junior Lifeguard Program meets 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday for 4 weeks. Kids will learn ocean safety, rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR.
Recreational activities include swimming, surfing, and bodyboarding.
In order to sign up, participants must demonstrate the ability to
Tread water for 5 minutes
Swim underwater for 10 yards
Swim 100 yards in 2 minutes
Ages: 8-16
Duration: 4 weeks
