Feeding America
Feeding America distributes over 1.5 million pounds of food each month. There are lots of ways for volunteers to help. The easiest way is to look at the calendar on their website and sign up for a time to sort and pack food for their various programs.
They will also work with groups to put together a program that fits your needs. Groups can conduct a food drive, raise money and/or sort and pack food items. They also offer tours of their facilities where visitors can learn how they collect food and bring it to those who need it.
