San Diego has plenty of places where kids can learn to fence. You can enroll your child in a camp to see if they like the sport of fencing. Many studios offer ongoing fencing classes for those who want to learn more and even participate in competitions.

Fencing is a serious sport, and in fact is only one the few that have been part of every modern Olympics. There are three types of weapons used in the sport of fencing, Foil, and Epee. All are taught at local fencing clubs in San Diego. Some even offer fencing classes specifically for theatrical sword play!
