Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

Museum

Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is a hands-on science museum. Kids can explore exhibits like So Watt, Origins in Space and Kid City. There are permanent and traveling exhibits and IMAX films, all geared toward learning some fun aspect of science. The Science Center is open every day and is free on the first Tuesday of every month for residents of San Diego County.

Birthday Parties

The Science Center offers children’s birthday parties at a reasonable rate. Cake, drinks, invitations, hosts and a private party room are included in the base rate. For an additional cost you can add on a 30-minute science workshop, an IMAX film, goody bags from the gift shop or food from their cafe.

Groups

Since education is their focus, it’s a great place for group outings. Field trips, home school groups and other groups can select a program that fits their educational needs and age group. They even have programs designed to meet the requirements of girl scout and cub scout badges.

Day Camps

Kids can attend science day camps during summer, spring and winter breaks. Themes include things like Motion Commotion, Crazy Chemistry and Engineering & Structures. You can sign up for one day or a whole week.
