Teenagers are old enough for some independence, but young enough to want to discover new ways to have fun. They also sometimes have some time on their hands that parents would like to see used for something productive.

The activities on this page offer something special for teens, or are especially geared towards teens and tweens. Many of the activities on the other pages also apply to teenagers.

Middle and high school students are still kids and they still enjoy doing many of the same things younger kids enjoy – playing, learning fun stuff, getting exercise. But they want to be with others their own age and they definitely don’t want to be treated like little kids.

Many teens can provide volunteer services. Camps for younger kids are a perfect place for older kids to help out. They get treated almost like one of the grown-ups while being in a supervised environment.
