Track and Field San Diego
Running is a great sport that you can do anywhere, almost any time. Kids can take part in marathons, walks and runs. Running can also improve performance in many other sports.
Many youth track and field clubs offer an opportunity for kids to learn to run correctly early on. It gives them a chance to check out one of high school’s most popular sports. During practice, running coaches are available to assist the participants. Often, track coaches are available for private lessons as well.
Running for Kids
Some running clubs are just for recreational running and fun runs. Some run on tracks at local schools, while other running groups use the road for cross country. Many of these have members of all ages and can make a great family event.
High Jump
While not quite as popular as running programs, there are groups that practice other track events, like the high jump. It’s a serious sport, but try telling that to a kid who imagines themselves flying through the air and landing on a super sized mattress!
